Born and grown up in Hong Kong, Jamsen's artistic interests and explorations span from video to theatre and installation arts. He studied Fine Arts at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and received his Master degree in Media Creations at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences in Japan in 2006.

His art works have been widely exhibited in Asia, Europe and both North and South America. Recently, he has actively participated in media arts related exhibitions, artist-in-residence and collaborative projects. Jamsen is now teaching at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
