Anthony Lee’s background is in teaching and in directing for films and TV commercials.

Currently, he is the Vice President of the Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild, an Executive Committee Member of the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers and a Support Services Committee Member of the Hong Kong Film Development Council. His last teaching post was Professor of Practice at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for their BA(Hons) in Digital Media Programme. His approach to film is to see it as a language; a container that gives body and form to ideas. As such, he believes the artistry of film is to use it effectively to engage and to persuade through a cacophony of designed user experiences.
